This is a medium size heavy blade camp knife made for and up to just about any task around the camp or in the field. Forged from high carbon 5160 steel that takes and holds an incredibly sharp edge that no stainless steel knife can.
Approximately 11 1/2" long with a 6 1/2" x 1 5/8" deep blade 5/32" thick with a steel bolster.
Shown in dark antique walnut but also available in several other handle woods.
The sheath is made from 8/9 oz leather that is double stitched with a full welt, waterproofed, signed and dated.
This knife is made like all of my others, hand forged by myself in my Vermont blacksmith shop. Some forging and hammer marks are left on all my blades to make a one of a kind knife that shows they are truly handmade. A stunning knife reminiscent of an old frontier pattern that will be the envy of anyone who uses and appreciates a beautiful knife that looks as good as it cuts.
Each knife comes with care instructions and a lifetime guarantee. If ever there is a problem with one of my knives when used for it's intended purpose, I will replace or repair it at my discretion.
