This is a tactical / survival tomahawk hand forged completely from one solid piece of 5160 high carbon spring steel.

Considerably more effort is needed to forge this shape than a regular knife given the need to have more mass at the head called "Upsetting" to obtain enough metal for drawing out the head shape.

Approximately 17 1/2" long overall, the head is 7 1/4" long. The spike is 2 3/4" long with the cutting section 3 3/4"
The thickness of the handle is just under 3/8" thick that tapers down to the head and spike is approximately 1/4" thick.

A fast moving in the hand tomahawk that can be use for defense as well as bushcrafting and outdoor survival. The spike can be used for breaching doors and extraction.

The head also has a secondary cutting bevel below the primary edge. This would be used for cutting on the pull stroke in a defensive situation and for clearing brush.

The end of the handle has a diamond point shape for use as another defensive option or for digging and prying, which is also hardened and tempered as the head is.

The handle has a leather wrapping that has line carving as well as being double  stitched and epoxied on, to make for a strong positive gripping area.

The leather sheath has ****optional belt carry loops**** as well as forged brass "D" rings for the  removable cross draw shoulder carry belt. This is a very versatile and comfortable rig for carrying in the woods and bushcraft. It is also designed for fast draw removal with one retention snap.

The blade is also acid etched to help prevent rusting and corrosion. Which gives it a dark aged appearance.

Hand forged as always in my Vermont blacksmith shop.

The sheath is made from 9/10 oz leather that is double stitched with a full welt and copper saddle makers rivets at all critical stress points. Waterproofed, signed and dated.

Distinctive forging marks are left to show these knives are handmade and have a natural aged appearance.

All of my pieces come with a lifetime warranty. If there is ever a problem I will repair or replace it for free. This does not include abuse or neglect, or other use than what it is intended for.

Firearm not included
