This is another style knife in my Survival / Defense series line of knives meant to be used and depended on in extreme conditions or for self defense.
It is a large 5 1/2" x 1 1/4" deep x 3/16" thick blade half dagger with a sharpened tip for cutting on the back swing if needed. A flat area is left on the top for fero rod fire starting use and battoning.
The end pommel is diamond shaped that can be used for breaking glass or for self defense.
Overall length is 11 1/4" with a paracord wrapped handle that can be removed if cordage is needed.
Hand forged in my Vermont blacksmith shop from a single piece of high carbon 5160 steel that is incredibly tough and holds and outstanding edge even in demanding situations. Distinctive forging marks are left to show these knives are handmade. In addition they are acid etched for a dark gray finish that helps prevent rust.
The heavy duty 8/9 0z leather sheath is designed to be used either as a regular vertical carry, left or right hand side. Or horizontally for scout or cross draw carry. Double stitched with saddle makers rivets added at all all critical stress points, waterproofed signed and dated.
Each knife comes with care instructions and a lifetime guarantee. If ever there is a problem with one of my knives when used for it's intended purpose, I will replace or repair it at my discretion.
