This is a mini Kephart style combination belt / neck knife designed to be used as a light everyday carry knife that does not take up much room on your belt and nearly unnoticed hanging around the neck. It also works well just sliding into your pocket. A very versatile solid little knife that's there when you need it and not too big to carry all the time.
The 2 5/8" clip point blade has file work jimping for a good thumb purchase while doing heavy pressure cutting. The walnut handle has two full length brass pins with a lanyard hole which has a paracord snake knot lanyard for added grip and making removing from the sheath easier. The overall length is 5 7/8"
Hand forged as always in my Vermont blacksmith shop. Made from high carbon 5160 steel. This steel in incredibly tough and takes and holds an outstanding edge.
The sheath is made from 9 oz leather that is stitched with a full welt and copper saddle makers rivets at all critical stress points. Waterproofed, signed and dated.
Distinctive forging marks are left to show these knives are handmade and have a natural aged appearance.
All of my knives come with a lifetime warranty. If there is ever a problem I will repair or replace it for free. This does not include abuse or neglect of the knife, or other use than what it is intended for.
