This is a heavy blade camp / woodsman knife with the distinctive harpoon swedge tip blade. Made for tough bushcraft outdoor work and camp chores along with processing large game. This is also an excellent personal defense knife.
Hand forged as always in my Vermont blacksmith shop from tough 1075 high carbon steel. The blade is approximately 7" long x 1 13/16" deep x 3/16" thick. Overall length is 11 5/8"
The handle has the classic birds beak profile, made in my gunstock tiger maple attached with heavy duty Loveless bolts and brass lanyard hole.
The blade is acid etched and has a gray finish that has an aged and weathered look which aids in preventing corrosion.
The sheath is double stitched 8/9 oz leather with copper saddle makers rivets at all stress points. Along with being waterproofed signed and dated.
All of my knives come with a lifetime warranty. If there is ever a problem I will repair or replace it for free. This does not include abuse or neglect of the knife, or other use than what it is intended for.
